Scottish Churches Parliamentary Officer
David Bradwell works for the Church of Scotland and is responsible for parliamentary and political affairs. As part of this work he has the role of Scottish Churches Parliamentary Officer, and is responsible for ensuring the delivery of SCPO outcomes and activities as well as being the main contact for Churches seeking to do political work, or for politicians, civil servants and researches wanting to find out more about the work and views of the Churches.
Previously David has worked for the Methodist Church in Britain on public issues and relations with Westminster, and in different roles in the national office of the Church of Scotland including co-ordinating Scottish Faiths Action for Refugees from 2015-2020. He has been Parliamentary Officer since October 2020. He lives in East Lothian and is a member of Humbie Parish Church.
