£100K Rapid Response Fund launched by Faith in Community Scotland

Faith in Community Scotland have launched the COVID-19 Rapid Response Fund to support communities across the country as they react to the coronavirus pandemic.

The £100,000 fund has been established with money from the William Grant Foundation, Faith in Community Scotland and the National Lottery Community Fund.

It is intended to help Scotland’s network of local faith groups and related community organisations provide immediate support for individuals and families during the early stages of COVID-19.

A spokesperson for Faith in Community Scotland said:

“This crisis has already proven that the most important things for all of us are our relationships and connections with each other and this fund is to support the people most at risk of becoming disconnected.”
